Mr. Yeung Chai Huei, the founder of SINA Ginger Candy - Ting Ting Jahe, moved to Indonesia in early 1930 and made a living by selling beverages on the street. On June 15, 1935, Mr. Yeung established Sindu Amritha (Short form Sin A) Candy Factory. Sindu Amritha in Sanskrit means "River of Nectar, River of Life" and "Sin A", in Chinese means new Asia. The founding process of SIN A was not smooth sailing. The factory experienced difficulties such as shortage of raw materials during the War in the Pacific during World War II, but with the concerted efforts of family members and the unique flavour of ginger candy, SIN A finally overcame all difficulties and established its global sales headquarters in Hong Kong in 1976. SIN A, which has experienced many changes over the times, has steadily moved from the 20th century to the 21st century. With changes in society and technology, the company makes continuous investment in automated production plant and modern processes. The company attaches great importance to research and development and has completed many technology upgrades and equipment transformation. With ongoing innovation that takes consumer preferences as the leading factor, we have gradually expanded the product range by diversifying the flavours of ginger candy and promoting it to more countries around the world.
